Daegeum and haegeum concertos performed in Jeonju

With the whole world being on pause for a few months, it’s been refreshing to get word of a few recent performances in Korea. The Jeonju Provincial Gugak Center Orchestra, led by conductor Kwon Sung-Taek (권성택), gave two concerts in late May – both streamed live on YouTube. The first performance included Verses, for haegeum and Korean orchestra, performed by Kim Nayoung (김나영), and the second included Eternity (영원), for daegeum and Korean orchestra, played by Seo Jung-Mi (서정미).
