I was glad to recently experience a recital by piri soloist Chiwan Park (\ube45\uce58\uc644), who performed a concert of four works. While there was no in-person audience, Chiwan has put the concert up on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCvx0nXCCVdCI-ZcUCG1h3HQ\">YouTube channel<\/a>. One of the pieces on the program was a new work I wrote for Chiwan titled\u00a0<em>Bisang<\/em> (\ube44\uc0c1). The piece takes its inspiration from the poem of a 16th century Korean poet, in which he describes a crane launching and soaring over the mountains.
