After years in the making, I’m pleased to announce the release of Aperio: Music of the America’s<\/a> new recording “Across Oceans: Chamber, Vocal and Solo Music by Thomas Osborne.” This is a group whose members I’ve worked with for well over a decade, and they’ve recorded an entire CD of my pieces. The disc includes Tracy Satterfield’s incredible performances of two song sets (Songs of a Thousand Autumns<\/em> and Dreams of Sky and Sea<\/em>), pianist Jason Hardink’s premiere recording of And the Waves Sing Because They are Moving<\/em>, and Michael Zuraw and Craig Hauschildt’s interpretation of the piano\/percussion duo Like Still Water<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I’m really pleased with how the recordings came out, and I’ve posted a few samples below. As of now the CD is available from MSR Classics<\/a> and Amazon<\/a>, and will soon be available for download online. Thanks to all the performers on the disc: Michael Zuraw, piano; Tracy Satterfield, soprano; Jason Hardink, piano; Craig Hauschildt, percussion; Andres Gonzalez, violin; Suzanne LeFevre, viola; Patrick Moore, cello; and Kimi Kawashima, piano.<\/p>\n
