This past Sunday the musicians of Contemporary Music Ensemble Korea (CMEK) performed a concert of my works in an event that was the culmination of my work here. I’ve been living in Seoul on a grant from the Fulbright Commission, writing music that incorporates Korean traditional instruments. CMEK is an ensemble made up of 9 members, mixing Western and Korean traditional instruments, and they featured 4 of my works on the concert. The performances were wonderful, and it was a pleasure to work with these musicians.
